
Spring into Spring at The Lamb at Satwell!
After a long cold winter, we're counting the days down to the start of Spring here at The Lamb at Satwell this March, with lots going on this month to keep you and your family entertained.
For starters, we have just updated our a la carte menu, with lots of tempting new dishes to represent the changing seasons.
Mother's Day is now less than two weeks away on Sunday March 14th - this year we are doing two sittings at 12-12.30pm and 2-2.30pm, with a special three course menu. As ever, spaces are limited, so please book early to avoid disappointment. The menu is viewable here
We will also be holding a special cheese and port tasting evening on Monday 29th March from 7pm. One of our cheese suppliers will be joining us from London and bringing a varied selection of delicious cheeses to sample. This will be accompanied with a selection of fine and vintage ports. Cost is £10 per person. As an added incentive, if you also dine with us that night, you will receive 20% off your food bill. Please book early for this event.
Leaping into April, we are also planning our very own Easter Sunday Brunch & Easter Egg Hunt on 4th April, from 10am-12 noon. Children will be able to search for chocolate eggs in our garden, and also collect real eggs from our chickens laid that morning for their breakfasts! We are also planning a special visit from some baby lambs from a local farm. There will also be a special menu served on Easter Sunday. More information about this coming later in the month...please keep an eye on our website.
Our upstairs private dining room is attracting lots of interest, and we are also now taking bookings for garden parties from Spring onwards. If you are planning a family or work event or celebration, or hog roast or BBQ over the Summer, please do think of us, and speak to Kieron for more information.
March also sees a year since we re-opened The Lamb at Satwell, so we'd like to thank everyone for their support during this period. We'll be having a big party to celebrate our first year once it is warm enough to use the garden, so please watch this space!
