Local Information
The Lamb enjoys numerous local attractions in close proximity. As well as being on or near many popular local walking routes including the South Oxfordshire Way, the beautiful town of Henley-on-Thames is only a few minutes drive away. Greys Court, a 14th Century Tudor Manor and Garden (administered by the National Trust) is within walking distance of the pub, as is the stunning part 12th Century All Saints’ Church on Peppard Common. Also close is the beautiful village of Mapledurham, while James Bond creator Ian Fleming’s former family estate (now a Sue Ryder Home) is also only a few miles away in Nettlebed. We work with a number of walking and cycling clubs, many of who stop off at The Lamb for refreshment en route.

The local area has a multitude of walks, and cycling routes plus bridleways.  We will be posting some of them on this website in coming months.

Customers are welcome to use our car park as a base for their walks, and we are always happy to recommend local routes we like to use.
