Our Chickens
We are currently adding a variety of different breeds of chickens to the woodland area at the bottom of our garden.  At the moment we have 20 hens, in all shapes and sizes, including rare breed Daylesford Blue Legbars, who lay blue eggs!   Please note we are keeping the chickens only for purposes of entertainment and education for children, and of course delicious free range eggs to supply our kitchen.

Your children are especially welcome to feed the chickens and collect the warm eggs from their huts on Saturday mornings from 9am-Noon, then deliver them (carefully!) to our chefs, who will boil them for them and supply buttered soldiers.  At other times, they can watch the chickens feeding on scraps from our kitchen.
