Welcome to The Lamb at Satwell, located in this 'area of outstanding natural beauty' just outside Henley-on-Thames in Oxfordshire.

Originally built in 1520, The Lamb at Satwell is owned by Chris Smith and Nick Gross.  It is operated by their team, all of whom are dedicated to offering a modern take on the traditional English country pub experience.

Our purpose is to offer exciting and regularly changing seasonal food menus, plus eclectic wine and real ale lists, all served in a welcoming environment steeped in history and atmosphere, whatever the time of year.  

The Lamb at Satwell has recently been sympathetically refurbished, retaining all the original beams, nooks and crannies and character of this 'chocolate box' country pub.  

We also offer a private dining room, extensive BBQ and garden area, are noted in various publications including the Michelin Pub Guide, Sawdays, CAMRA Good Pub and Good Beer Guides.
